Martin Kaplan
hit the ground running in Cleveland and quickly established himself as a serious contender among the city’s culinary set. Leaving no stone unturned, he cooked, expedited and working his dining room “touching tables.” Kaplan’s culinary philosophy can be defined as American classic cuisine where he prefers to bring out the original flavors of his dishes by incorporating the freshest ingredients. Kaplan’s talent has been well recognized both locally an nationally on PBS, Gourmet Magazine, and the James Beard House. Chef Kaplan currently owns and operates the acclaimed One Walnut restaurant in Cleveland.
